A book published to recall to mind the chief places of interest for visitors to Rome in the form of b/w photographs with accompanying short descriptions. With 220 b/w photographs of the rich architecture and art of The Eternal City - Rome. Contents include St. Peter's, The Vatican, Vatican Museum, Vatican Chapel, Sistine Chapel, St. Angelo, Many of the Piazzas and Churches, Via Appia, Catacombs, The Roman Forum, The Colosseum, Triumphal Arch of Constantine etc.etc. Some light foxing on eps. A little finger soiling occasionally. One page of text (pg 144) damaged where it had stuck to accompanying photo - now seperated. Olive green hard paper boards with black lettering on front board.
