The Speaker Arthur Onslow seated to the left of centre, speaking with Sir Robert Walpole on his left; to his right seated with pen and ink and open book is Edward Stables, the Clerk of the House of Commons; other figures from the administration portrayed behind central figures, all wearing wigs and hats, including Sydney Godolphin, Sir Joseph Jekyl, Colonel Onslow, Sir James Thornhilll, and Mr Aiskew; just visible to the left of the Speaker are Sir Thomas Cotton and Sir William Wyndham. Measurements: Image: 21.5"h x 16"w; Sheet: 25.5"h x 18"w. Condition: Very Good.
