Decorative pictorial brown cloth. Slight rubbing at edges of spine and corners, cloth chipped at top of spine and spine darkened, minor foxing to prelims, some pages opened a little roughly. A nice copy of an attractive early edition. Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. Reprint, the year after the first edition, adverts dated June 1888. Map and plates all present. Spine is darkened with bumping to cloth at ends. Light wear to front hinge with 3 tiny holes to cloth (see images). Boards a bit rubbed with bumping to corners. Internally, hinges intact other than a small crack at base of rear one. Original owner's name on end paper. P.19 has an exaggerated fold to corner that has led to slight discolouration and creasing to adjacent leaves but it is minor. Postage will be confirmed when you enquire or order and for light or very heavy books will vary from the ABE quote which is based on a 1kg parcel. N.B.
