36pp. Half calf on marbled boards, edges badly rubbed, top of spine missing and front hinge detached at bottom half. Some staining to front edge of front panel. Translated into French by A. F. E. Lepee. Very nicely illustrated w full-page and fold-out engravings including 'Self Will; Or Young Heads Not The Wisest, The Ramble; Or More Paths Than One, The Sailor Boy; Or First And Last Voyage and The Greedy Child Cured, The Ramble unfortunately w 2" tear to the bottom. Sporadic foxing throughout and a few pencil 'additions' to the engravings where the hair has been coloured-in. Contemporary ownership inscriptions to top of title page and fep. Not a bad copy 0.
