Paginates: Vol 1: 7, (1), 584 p. Vol II: 8, 548 p. Complete with three plates at the end of Volume I. Provenance: From the Richmond Physical Society, which was the library of The Richmond Surgical Hospital, Dublin, Ireland, opened in 1810. With the 1812 RPS bookplate listing the Library Regulations, and Richmond Physical Society stamps to the title page and throughout. Bound in contemporary half calf with marbled boards. Smooth spine with gilt lines, title and Vol. numbers. Some wear and rubbing to the spine and corners, but the binding holding well and the boards uncracked. R.L. (Richmond Library) stamp to each front board, and paper library marker Ca to the top of each spine. Internally with contemporary doctor s ink blots to the advertisement and contents page. Light foxing. Plates with heavier foxing. The volume measures 21.6 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm. Each leaf measures 211 x 128 mm. Seller Inventory # ABE-1692816224318
