Undated but 1913 1st edition with folding frontispiece; tightly bound in faded/discoloured red cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine; blind-stamped designs to front; pictorial onlay to front has chip to side and small chip within picture (on lady's hat); corners bumped and worn; small bit of wear to bottom front edge; spine edges worn with losses; cloth on spine hinges torn. Page fore-edges yellowed. Internally, faint foxing to endpapers and early pages; a few discolouration spots elsewhere; small tear to fore-edge of last page; otherwise, pages are clean and bright.
