Harriet Prescott Spofford wrote an "Appreciation" for the author which is at the beginning of this 224 page 5 1/4 by 7 3/4 inch volume. The boards are covered with olive green cloth and are decorated with an image in green and cream of a view of a hill with red roofed houses. The lettering on the spine and front cover is also in a cream color. There is light edge wear to the boards, a previous owner's name dated Christmas 1912, even age toning and a few spots in the margins on a few of the pages. There is also some slight darkening to the edges. Please look at the images provided carefully, and ask questions about this item prior to making a purchase, thank you.
