12mo. (18 cm.) 317p. Decorated title page and with decorative initial letters. Brown cloth double blocked in blind with gilt letters and gilt decorations on the spine and with a blind stamped floral cartouche on the front and back covers. Some wear to extremities with the corners just barely rubbed through, top and bottom of spine just starting to fray, gilt bright, cloth clean, previous owner's name and address on front free endpaper [Mary E. Reitz (?) Junction City Kansas), else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. E.A.W. was likely Eliza Ann Walker, a British writer of religious novels, including Newlyn House and Esther's Task, The Home of the Davenports and several hymns. Seller Inventory # 009032
