Octavo, [5], vi-xxxii, [3], 4-340 pages. In Fair condition. Quarter-bound in brown leather and green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Moderate rubbing to head and tail of spine with scratches to spine and wear to joints; leather peeling away from spine on top left corner. Moderate shelf wear to edges and corners of boards and bumping to corners. Severe water damage throughout book and binding, with cloth pulling away from leather and showing significant damp staining on both top and bottom boards. Hinges splitting. Moderate plus discoloration and age toning to exterior of text block and severe waving to text block. Light plus age toning throughout interior, light uneven foxing throughout, and severe damp staining to bottom edge of textblock throughout (not impacting most text or dye samples). Small hole (0.5 in) through pages 89-98. Moderate plus offsetting from dye samples throughout. All five hundred dye samples appear present and intact. DL consignment. Shelved in Room G. 1367292.
