The fifth issue of only six published issues of this lesbian separatist quarterly started by Jewish "Dyke Separatists," Liza Cowan and Penny House in NYC in 1975. The magazine's stated aim was to "fulfill [a] need for analysis, communication and news of â Lesbian Culture'." This issue is focused on ethnic lesbians (mostly Jewish, but also Black and Puerto Rican), but also includes an anti-trans section, titled "Transsexuals in the Womens' Movement," which consists of conversations with a female psychologist and ex-counselor for pre- and post-op transsexuals and with lesbians involved with Dyke.
