About this Item

. The Broadcast King, London, 1966. A folder (with very minor scuffs along the opening edge) containing 8 facsimile reprints on loose sheets of toned paper, all in mint condition and reproducing George Cruikshank's celebrated sequence of moralities, showing the degradation and deaths of the son and daughter of the drunkard who's downfall featured in an earlier series. The final scene, showing the "gin-sodden" daughter plunging to her death from London Bridge is a real shocker. Folder size 12x16in - which is also the size of each sheet. . . . . Books ship from the US and Ireland. Bookseller Inventory # KEB0001959
