Burnt Orange cloth w/gilt lettering and elaborate Foster & Palmer crest (ora et labora) Heavy wear to spine, fraying head and heel, closed tear center of spine, tear at heel of spine, corners bumped and rubbed to boards, moderate general soil. Tear on front endpaper, copious notes on all other endpapers in lovely script, prayer from newspaper glued neatly to copyright page and another in margin of page 101, several other small clippings and prayers tucked between the pages, and a glassine cutout flower. I am leaving them where they were placed in this much used, much loved book. Frontis w/tissue guard and several other illustrations. Seller Inventory # C710BC
