Octagonal 4to. Die-cut in the shape of an equilateral octagon and string-bound with vertical crease at center acting as the book's "spine." By turning half the cover over onto itself, the book opens flat to show full-color illustrated leaves, each with short accompanying lines of text. Rear wrapper with few small chips at edges and loss to bottom edge, not affecting rear leaf's text. Some splitting at foot and general signs of handling and wear, but overall a very neat and clean children's collectible. Dean's "All the Year Round Series" No. 3. Seller Inventory # 283
