Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak, Hardcover, UK Edition, 2nd Impression (September 1958). The book was translated from the Russian by Max Hayward and Manya Harari. The first impression of the book was in September 1958. This second impression quickly followed in the same month of that year. Book in good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has foxing and spotting internally and to the page edges. It also has bumping to the spine ends. The dust jacket shows wear and ageing, including internally, with small losses to the spine ends, and also nicks and tears to the extremities. This is to be expected for a book of this age. (See pictures). This book has been regarded as a classic. It also became an acclaimed film starring Omar Sharif as Yuri Zhivago, and Julie Christie as Lara Antipova.
