Toned, sheet with light creases. *** Charles Henry White (1878-1918) was born in Hamilton, Ontario and studied pen and ink drawings in Europe and the United States at the Art Student League in New York City. In 1901 he met the famed etcher Joseph Pennel in Venice, who encouraged the young White to study etching.
