No date or copyright page in book, estimated 1900s-1920s. Set is in near fine condition with clean maroon boards showing only slight wear (slightly rubbed edges and corners, one edge dent, stain on one text block) and bright gilt on spine (fading on one). Interior pages also excellent some pages unopened, light toning. One book has an ex-libris sticker, other 11 books have no ownership marks. All of the books are in excellent condition with the following defects noted: It appears that two title pages have large tears when being opened, see closed tears (there are a small number of edge tears from opening leaves which is not uncommon); and binding is cracked at the front gutter in two books, see last photo showing these defects.
