Third column has an article "History of Joseph Smith [January, 1837]" that takes up the balance of the age.There are Letters to the Editor, by B. F. Grouard, Asa Lyman and Charles C. Rich amongst others, local stories, reports from the legislative assembly, "Capt. Stansbury's Report, and several others plus lots of advertisements.
