Hardcover, no dustjacket, 442 pages plus a 6-page "In Memoriam" section, a clean copy inside and out with one minor exception: moderate foxing to two of the blank end-papers, also some mild tanning to the frontis and title page, the front hinge is slightly weak and the rear hinge has a short crack but the binding is holding well and will remain that way unless handled carelessly, there are also a few corner-creased pages and page 219 has been corner-clipped, all of the text and photos are fine.
