Title continues: "The Three first days being spent in Choosing their Speaker, the Confirming of him, and taking the Oaths as the Law directs; on Thursday the Twenty fourth of March, 1680. they began thus." An account of the debates in the "Oxford Parliament" which met to debate the position of the Duke of York, later James II, as successor to the throne.
