Very Good condition 1st Edition/1st Printing hardcover in Good condition dust jacket. The book the famous London publisher, Victor Gollancz, called "the most valuable, the most truly civilized, and the most spiritually and intellectually exciting novel that has come my way from America since the end of the war." This 1st printing is square and sound, completely clean inside with no creases, marks or damage to pages. The book's exterior is equally clean with very slight fading near the top edges. It has three bumped corners, but all are bumped very lightly. No rub wear. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is very clean, although the lamination has come off here and there.
