This VG+ quality book was published in 1941 by Crown Publishing Company. It is 7-1/2" tall and has 247 numbered pages followed by an unnumbered page advertising the next book in this series; it is a thin copy at 3/4" thick. It is square, very clean, completely free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are barely bumped, with no cloth damage. The bottom edges and lower front corners have very little wear. Except for an inked "IMP" logo on the FFEP and repeated on the title page, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and not damaged. There are no illustrations, not even a frontis, in this book or any other book in this series. The paper is very slightly toned, not at all brittle and quite flexible. The VG quality jacket is mildly soiled; it has tiny chips at both front corners and small chips and spots of color loss at the head and heel of the spine; and there are the "IMP" stamps on the front flap.
