Ex-library copy with all the usual stamps and markings, including withdrawn stamped 3 times on bottom page edges and a pocket on back cover page. Dust jacket has considerable wear and tear at the edges, covered with old (the kind with black edges) mylar protective cover that has a lot of wear and tear to it; attached with clear tape that has aged and left residue marks on both cover pages. Cloth covered boards show this tape at points of attachment; considerable wear at top and bottom edges and both spine edges. There is a break at the back cover board and cover page at the spine but not separated. Text of 172 pages in clean and fairly tight. The text looks better than the cover and still has a lot of good reads of an interesting story about a famous race horse and its owner. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 014195
