DOLL SHAPED BOOK, Tuck's No.1756, inscribed 1901, 370 x 190 mm, 14½ x 7½ inches, die cut card covers shaped at top and fore-edge around a beautiful doll, dressed in pink and lace, with huge hat, carrying parasol, lower cover plain. 4 pages of delightful chromolitho illustrations, 9 in total, all but 1 depicting children with dolls, 10 text pages with many line illustrations, mostly children with dolls. A few tiny surface chips to shaped edges (max 2 mm, 1/8" deep), small pencil inscription on lower cover. Excellent condition for a large fragile item. Near Fine.
