(xii), 50, (2) pp. Publisher's black cloth, white lettered to the spine and upper board, dust jacket, a long and intimate inscription dated 1972 from Booth to a friend ("Jeremy") at the front of the book incorporating and riffing upon a quote from the Chinese poet Li Po ("A man should stir himself with poetry, Standing firm in ritual, Complete himself in music").
