36 x 36 cm one-sided pink paper, somewhat darkened. No. 31214. 6 whole coupons attached, one with a slight chip, and 2/3 of a 7th coupon present. Red ink stamp in top right corner. Blind stamp visible from rear. Paper browned. $1000 confederate bond lithographed by Archer & Daly, Richmond, VA, who also printed most of the postage stamps for the Confederacy. Stamp only visible from behind may read Confederate States of America Treasury Department. Portrait of "Stonewall" Jackson & vignette of steamboat. Signature of ?
