This book explains the scientific principle of transposition in music and is illustrated by many b/w examples - see images. Half binding (leather spine/card boards in olive green). Condition: sound overall with some edgewear; especially at the boards' edges. Internally, the pages are deemed to be tanned although it may reflect more the type of paper used than the passage of time. Perhaps surprisingly, given the book's subject, on the contents page there is a tapped-in errata slip - with a list of seven errors. pp. 66/8vo.
