Folio (460mm x 258mm) 17 colour plates and 479 monochrome plates. This is a page for page replica, as exact as photography can make it, of the original manuscript. Volume 1 is bound in full brown pigskin, heavily embossed on the upper board and lettered on the backstrip in green Celtic lettering. Volume 2, the commentary, is quarter bound in matching pigskin and lovat boards. There is slight rubbing to the pigskin joints and fore-edges of Volume I, less so on Volume II, the fore-corners of both volumes are NOT bumped as often otherwise a near fine set with very clean and free of marks or blemishes contents.
