Hardcover with dustjacket, "History and romance are skilfully blended in this story of Mohawk Valley events and personalities," illustrated throughout, including a double-page end-paper map, the sturdy red cloth binding has a faint damp-mark on the bottom portion of the covers, no damage done other than slght discoloration, there is also a gift inscription on the blank end-paper, the binding is tight and the contents are fine, the same damp-mark is present on the jacket but it is only visible on the underside, mild but extensive surface-rubbing/wear is present along the outside portion of the spine, this flaw has removed the dark blue background color of the jacket and appears white, some edge-rubbing also, the jacket is clean, the front and rear panel color illustrations remain nice, the original price (6.00) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included.
