In overall very good condition, dj is chipped and worn to corners, with short unclosed tear to lower rh front fold; blue cloth boards, with black titles to spine, are near fine. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions, pages and text crisp and bright throughout. A very clean, private copy of this biography of one of America's most prominent defenders of democracy.
