Unpaginated. Green boards with colored paste down picture on cover, repeated inside. Decorated green endpapers, colored frontispiece. Eight full color illustrations, three full page ink drawings, with vignettes of this kind scatted throughout. Page 1 of text has small tear which has been repaired with scotch tape. 1 inch tear on edge of page 2; does not interfere with text. Darkened strips on 5 pages caused by brown paper strips used as book mark. Spine show signs of wear, back hinge broken but still well attached. Previous owner's sticker on ffep which has been marked through with a black marker. Christmas inscription on free front endpaper dated 1910. Otherwise this is a lovely book with clean text and beautiful illustrations. Seller Inventory # 001009
