Water wrinkling on bottom edge and light water stain. Covers have minor wear, chipping and soil. Corners and ends of spine lightly bumped and rubbed. Stapled binding tight. Noticeable writing. 179 pages including index. 1930 was the beginning of the depression and a decade before the start of World War II. But no one knew that yet and this cook book was used as a fundraiser for the Children's Mission in Canton OH. It has recipes for appetizers, soups, fish, game, poultry, meat, vegetables, sauces, salads, desserts, lunch and supper dishes, breakfast, reads, pies, cakes, cookies, fritters, sandwiches, beverages, preserves, candies and suggestions for invalids and convalescents. Two pages lists measurements and substitutions. There are a few bw illustrated ad for local companies. Size: 6 x 9. Seller Inventory # 039532
