A great, solid, tight, clean copy. Ex remote Montana grade school copy and so noted by written comment inside front board. Covers are worn at corners, spine ends and spine edges. Filing label removed from spine and the spine is slightly faded. The interior is superb with no marks, sound hinges, clean, bright pages with sharp corners. Colored frontice and line drawings here and there. Another of the classic Charlie stories originally 1926 vintage. Written for children and probably intended for grade schools as the fly states, "Read them aloud to four to eight year olds; put them on fourth grade 'browsing tables' ".
