As children are taught about these incredible inventors and ground-breakers in school, Campfire's graphic retelling of these great scientific events really brings the story to life, showing how the scientists involved raced to beat each other and how the results would change our lives forever.
About the Author:
Lewis Aaron Helfand was interested in cartoons, animation, and comics from a young age, and started writing as an amateur from the age of twelve. At twenty-four, he wrote and drew his first independent comic book, "Wasted Minute." It tells the story of a world without crime where superheroes are forced to work regular jobs. To cover the cost of self-publishing, he began working odd jobs in offices and restaurants, and started exhibiting his book at local comic book conventions. With the first issue received well, he was soon collaborating with other artists, and released four more issues over the next few years.
A resident of New Delhi, India, Naresh Kumar describes himself as a seeker who is continuously trying to learn as much as he can, and his art is an expression of his curiosity towards the world. A firm believer in humanity, Naresh brings an experienced hand to the drawing board, and his photo-realistic style captures the subtle emotions of his characters. His work features in a number of titles from Campfire, which include "Julius Caesar, Martin Luther King," and "Sinbad: The Legacy."
