This 6.875 x 9.25 inch, 61 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is an early printing of this title with the book in very good condition and the jacket in good condition. The book itself features the glazed boards with B-1 on the spine ? the covers show definite wear at the corners and the spine crown and foot ? but beyond that the covers and binding are very nice and the interior pages near fine or better ? with no damage or markings showing. The book features pictorial endpapers and the disclosure on the final unnumbered page of the text talking about the educational value of Dr. Seuss books ? with the blab enclosed in an outline of the Cat in the Hat. The dust wrapper is in at least good condition with edge and fold-wear showing but with very few small chips missing. The front flap shows a 195/195 price. The rear panel shows a full-page listing of Beginner Books ? with 20 titles shown ? the last being ? Robert the Rose Horse. 61 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-1759
