Only edition. Illustrated by 60 plates with 90 original photographs. Issued in 10 parts during 12 years, this work on skin diseases is, for obvious reasons, very rare. Nearly all copies in OCLC are incomplete or digital. Each plate is with a text of 4 to 8 pages. The author's was Professor of Syphilis and Skin Disease at University of Amsterdam. Finished after the author's death in 1896 by Mendes da Costa and Spruijt Landskroon. folio. (318) pp., 60 plates. Boîte en toile, titre doré.
