Map of Oudewater a small village between Rotterdam and Utrecht.Titled below: 'NIEUWE GRONDTEKENING der STAD OUDEWATER / Te Amsterdam By IS. TIRION 1749.' On the top right corner the explanation of the letter included on the map. On the top right corner: 'VIIIe Deel, Bladz. 34.'This print is used in 'Hedendaagsche historie of tegenwoordige staat van alle Volkeren.', published by Tirion in Amsterdam in 1750. The etching appears after page 34 in the XVIII volume and not, as mentioned in the print, in the VIII. Etching on paper;plate mark: 177 x 176 mm, total: 208 x 207 mm; a vertical folding crease at center, otherwise in good condition. Seller Inventory # PR120249
