1952. Reprint (the first edition was in 1937). 192pp. Sydney Horler (1888-1954) was a prolific British writer, bet known for his thrillers and crime novels. This book features one of his best known characters - Nighthawk, a gentleman thief. The book is bound in the original red boards with black titling on the spine. The case of the book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean with light foxing to the first few pages. There is no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper has some shelf wear with light soiling and the spine is faded. Small pieces are missing from the corner tips and bottom spine corners and slightly larger pieces are missing from around the top of the spine. Seller Inventory # gLitHorler01
