This is an absolutely beautiful book in excellent condition. The cover is lovely and is in great condition. It has a decorative gold border and a marbled patten. The spine has raised bands. There is some light cracking on the side edges of the top and bottom of the spine, where the spine joins to the covers. The binding is sound, there are no loose pages. There is some minor chipping of the corners of the cover. All page edges are beautifully marbled. The pages are in good condition apart from some light foxing in some places. There is an award sticker inside the front cover from 1880. Seller Inventory # 028413
