Circulex Therapeutic Health Units were vibrator machines that were supposed to stimulate and cure all manner of ailments, from circulatory ailments, phlebitis, cramps, nervous condition, sinus trouble, diabetes, insomnia hemorrhoids, and arthritis, among other ailments, even restoring a "useless arm". "Get your Circulex now. Exercise while you relax with Circulex the onlyl known way by which you can thoroughly exercise, feed and gently massage all the organs of your body without strain or effort." According to the front matter, "John Wettlaufer, a native son of Stratford, Ontario, is a member of the pioneer machinery House of Wettlaufer, which for three generations has been producing roadbuilding, construction and mining machinery in Canada. The Wettlaufers have an established reputation for inventive genius. Over twenty year ago they invented the now universally known NIAGARA SCREEN, which has become an international industry leader, and standard equipment with a great mining and industrial operations in Canada, the United States, and in Europe. Vibratory equipment is therefore not new to these machinery pioneers, and John L. Wettlaufer had devoted years of time and study in connection with oscillating movement." This expertise went into the Circulex Therapeutic Unit! Quackery at its most blatant! Both pieces of ephemera included in this purchase. Seller Inventory # 008266
