The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading as Very Good condition for its age. The book has a straight spine with sharp corners and firm spine ends, although these are rubbed. The page edges and end papers are clean but off-white due to age and the interior text is clean. The front end paper has what looks like half a dozen finger print smudges. The binding is tight and the text clean aside from the odd fingerprint smudge throughout. The title page confirms there are 26 colour plates by A F Lydon and E F Bailey and other illustrations throughout. The subscribers edition notice is bound into the book at end paper stage.
