This 333-page hardcover book with jacket is the assumed first edition of this title as supported by the 1973 publishing date on the title page matching the date on the copyright page. The book itself with it's mustard-yellow covered boards with black cloth spine is in very fine condition. There is absolutely no condition issue to mention as to the cover with the gilt-gold lettering on the spine as new. The covers show no wear to the edges or corners. The interior text is simply in very fine condition with the pictures of Joplin's life all present. The dust wrapper shows some shelf wear along the folds and at the spine foot and crown. Beyond that this is an exceptionally nice copy of this title of one of the most memorable and accomplished personalities of that long-ago 1960's era. 333 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-502
