Original green cloth with gilt spine titles and cover emblem; edgeworn, light darkening of the spine, corners bumped. All edges gilt, a little dust dulled. The textblock is separated from the covers at the hinges; the joints connecting the covers to the spine remain sound and the textblock itself remains securely bound in its binding strings with a stiff layer of card protecting the spine of the textblock, with the exception of the final leaf and rear endpaper which are separated but present. Previous owner name to FFEP. A little light scattered foxing throughout, though on the whole not affecting the plates. Light age toning around the edges. Very small damp staining to the top outer corner affecting the first few leaves. Some pencil annotations. Seller Inventory # 1021079020477
