Printed for the Ray Society by Dulau and Co., London, 1913, being the volume issued to subscribers to the society for 1912; two volumes, 8vo, volume I of text, pp ix,[i], 254, two full page photographic plates, 24 (being a list and geographical list of the society), 12 (being a list of the society's publications) and volume II of plates, pp xii, 72 plates mostly with several figures and many in colour, 4 (being a list of officers and publications of the society); purple cloth, blind and gilt embossed on the covers and spines; hinges split on the covers (but firm) on both volumes, spines slightly rubbed or frayed at the ends and slightly dulled; ex-library with the bookplate of the North Devon Athaneum, Barnstaple, in each volume and with stamps of the institution here and there; internally tight and clean except that the end papers and the first and last couple of sheets are browned.
