About this Item
(6), 125 pages + frontispiece. Original publisher's paper covered boards, spine lettered gilt, with original pictorial unclipped dust jacket. Dust jacket design and frontispiece by Karl Uhleman. A rollicking tale of school life for boys. The first chapter is headed "Pygmalion" - and is all about a rabbit that was more than a rabbit. McGinley is no rabbit - he is a very wideawake lad who seems to have a habit of getting from one scrape into another. School-days may have their ups and downs, but The Boys of St. Battt's shows that the schoolboy can and does have an amount of fun which might seem to be anything but fun to the "grown-ups." Uniform toning to text block, otherwise a near fine copy without any damage, library stamps, inscriptions or other markings. Seller Inventory # 002951
