DJ has a small sticker residue on lower spine and some general overall rubbing. Illustrated with b & w photos, sketches and a map. Has bibliography and index. This camp/fort was a military creation in east-central New Mexico from 1863-68. It failed as an attempt to create a sedentary existence for these Navajo people.
