Very Good condition 1st Edition/1st Printing inscribed and *SIGNED* by the author on the first endpage. Inscribed to "Dan". "Dan" is Daniel Taradash, Oscar Award-winning writer (for the screenplay for From Here to Eternity), and former president of the Motion Picture Academy, who died in 2003 at the age of 90. The book is completely clean and unmarked inside and out. Cocked a bit to the right. One corner (the upper right of the front cover) is bumped. Light rub wear to bottom edges, tips of corners. Dust jacket is not price-clipped, has light soiling on the back panel only, is tanned on the spine, and has a single edge chip of about 1/16".
