Cupples & Leon Company, NY, 1937, lists to this title (8) on copyright page but lists to Mysterious Neighbor (18) on front dj flap, 206 pages, b&w illustrated plate frontispiece, endpapers with b&w illustrated pattern, 5.5"x 7.75", hardcover, orangey-yellow boards with red titles on front and spine, spine ends lightly bumped, corners very lightly bumped and just a bit worn, good dust jacket with edge and corner wear, spine title faded and illegible, clear tape across top of spine and at corners, tape at top of front panel has cause two letters in the title to bleed a little but the title is still very legible, short closed edge tears, two 1/2"x 1/4" pieces missing at top spine corners, dust jacket now protected in a new archival plastic cover and the front panel looks pretty good, pages tanning around edges, fore-edge of last 6 pages a bit rough cut but doesn t affect contents, otherwise contents clean and tight, book very good {" - a scheming couple trying to master-mind a blackmail plot!
