First UK edition hardback translated by G. S. Fraser and Erik De Mauny with a Preface by Arthur Honegger, 1953, with unclipped jacket. In overall very good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - white dj tanned to spine and slightly soiled; black cloth boards clean and crisp. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions - owner's name to ffep; light toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
