It is 7-5/8" tall and has 216 numbered pages of text followed by 2 unnumbered pages of ads; it was the first title in this series to be bound in brown cloth with decorated end pages. This book is square, extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with slight fabric damage; the bottom edges have only a very little bit of wear. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis is present and not damaged. The paper is mildly toned and a bit stiff but still flexible. The series lists at the rear of the book lists to this title in the Ted Scott series. The VG quality jacket has some wear along the front fold and only small edge chips at both front corners and at the head and heel of the spine. The spine is substantially darkened.
