This VG+ quality third format book (gray binding with blue lettering) was first published in 1922 by Cupples & Leon. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 244 numbered pages of text. This book has a slight lean, is extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; head and heel of the spine are also very lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges have very little wear. Much of the fore edge of the front board has slight discoloration--it looks like moisture damage, but whatever it is, it is confined to the front binding. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis is present and not damaged. The paper is mildly toned but very flexible. The series lists at the front of the book lists to this title in this Baseball Joe series; there is no other list in the book. The NF quality jacket is clean and not faded. It has tiny chips at both front corners and tiny edge chips and tears at both the head and the heel of the spine.
